.38 Super. 4.25" barrel. SN: 29764-LW. Blued metal finish with black anodized frame showing polished flats and matte rounds and displaying a polished chamber and muzzle, and polished hammer flanks mounting Colt logo brown Coltwood grips. Short-recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Sights consist of military style rear notch and matted front blade. Left slide marked COMMANDER/MODEL COLT SUPER .38/AUTOMATIC followed by {Rampant Colt} logo. Right slide marked in a single line COLT'S MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Frame struck with Colt's VP monogram proof marking. Barrel marked COLT SUPER .38 AUTO. Item comes in a brown cardboard COLT marked box with the base marked with a matching serial number in grease pen. {C&R}
